A Walk in the Park...

This weekend was another relaxing weekend. I had some things that needed to be taken care of before we leave for the East coast next week. Like, Ant man needed a haircut and I had some errands to run. Sunday was our play day. After his nap we headed to the New Children's Museum. When we arrived I learned they were closed. :( Normally they are closed on Wednesday for cleaning, but for some unknown reason they decided to close on Sunday, just that Sunday. I was a little upset because we drove all that way and they were closed, but I decided to make the best of it.

We headed across the street to some "grassy" (are there any grassy areas in San Diego?) area with small hills, tons of birds, and homeless people. Ant man had a blast just playing with nature. He chased birds, picked flowers, hid rocks in trees, waved hello to all the homeless people, ran up and down the hills, I picked dandelions and blew the pappus (the white cotton like fuzz) off of them (he thought that was the COOLEST but refused to do it himself), and he tried to give the birds his flowers. Here are some pictures from our extravaganza. He is so cute! Again, I am biased:)

Again, sorry about quality, these were taken with my phone!

I can only imagine the day through his eyes. Bet it would make a great Kid's Book. Fun Day!
