Silence is not always golden...

Silence is not always good when you have a toddler. Nope, silence can be very bad. Luckily, today, for me, it was not that bad - just messy and later probably very foul smelling. Anthony decided it was more fun to shake the milk out of his sippy rather than drink it. He was sitting peacefully on the couch eating his breakfast, drinking his milk (or so I thought) while watching his beloved Phineas and Pherb. WRONG... I noticed it was a little quiet because he will normally giggle when watching Phineas and Pherb but nada today. Pure silence... which set off my mommy alarm and caused me to stop washing the dishes and to peak around the corner. Sure enough, he was doing something he shouldn't have been. Shaking his milk out of his cup, which not only drenched the couch but his outfit as well, so we had an emergency clothing change before we set-off to daycare. Lesson learned... do not enjoy the silence rather run to see what your toddler is doing!!!
