Up, Tubes, and So Much More...

This past Saturday we took Anthony to see the movie Up in 3-D at the El Capitan. It was awesome and so was Anthony considering it took us over 3 hours to drive there and the same on the way home. He sat in his own seat and wore the 3-D glasses and enjoyed every minute of it. The movie was super cute, even for adults:)

Yesterday we had an appointment with ENT since Anthony has had so many ear infections and at every visit has been noted as having fluid in his ears. At the visit they did a hearing test. He has some hearing loss, but they think it is due to the fluid. He is scheduled to get tubes next Tuesday, June 23rd. They asked about his speech, which is perfect, in case we might need to be referred to speech therapy. Luckily, he talks up a storm and speaks clearly. My DH and I attribute that to us being loud people, LOL.

Also, on our trip to LA Anthony had his first slim jim, which he LOVED. I didn't think he would like, yet alone devour it, because he is a picky eater. Here are some pics... one in the theater and the other of Anthony eating a slim jim.

In addition to Anthony counting to five, he now can identify shapes and some colors. I think he limits the colors to his faves, such as blue, red, and yellow. Occasionally he will identify green!

That's great he did so well at the movie! I've been debating whether or not to take my little girl (she'll be 2 in October)...but I've read from now 2 people that they took their little ones and they did so well!

Cute blog and thanks for stopping by mine!

Hey Chelle, I believe our lil ones are close in age. Mine will be two in October as well. This was actually the second movie he has been to see, and for both he did well! I say give it a shot, and let me know how it goes. :)

Thanks for the comment. The blog originally started as a means to communicate with my hubby when he as deployed.
